Sand is very good to add an extra layer of protection when burning incense or herbs. A little goes a long way. Just fill the bottom of your burner with sand. You don't need to replace it after each use. You can use it over and over. It is totally up to you.
You will receive a generous 2 oz of sand in a small bag. Several colors available.
